I’m Mary, a wife and mom surviving on coffee & very little sleep. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida but Central Texas is home now. I’ve been here about 10 years now and married to my husband for almost 5. We have a wildly adventurous little boy that keeps us going.

Growing up I always loved looking at old family photos, and like most photographers out there I was CONSTANTLY using those little golden yellow disposable Kodak cameras. I am here to create those photos that you and your family will love looking at for generations to come.

The muscle, the brains, and the water boy. Ha no but really! The backbone that helps keep South Oak running in so many ways. You will see him with me at weddings and events lugging my huge case and step ladder around. He helps me stay hydrated by continually bringing me water, so I don’t pass out, because #Texas. Though he wouldn’t brag about it, he has no problem helping someone; even if it is last minute finishing touches like set up and decorating your wedding!

When he isn’t the South Oak superhero, he is a typically nerding out in some form or working hard at Dell Technologies. Soccer is huge in this house! Hala Madrid!

This is Valor James. Our wild, dino obsessed moon child! Like most 3.5-year-old kids he is always moving. He knows basically the whole solar system thanks to flash cards and is officially smarter than me. He loves to help me water all our garden plants and could adventure outside all day. He is what got me truly immersed into this art. He is my constant test subject but most importantly, my muse.
